Trek to Beas Kund winds you through the Solang Valley, it is said that it’s a birthplace of the River Beas. Beas Kund is a small glaciated lake and it is the source of River Beas. It is 4471m high. Solang Valley is just 13 kms from Manali and the trek to Beas Kund starts from the Old Manali village. Solang valley offers some great views of the famous peak in the Kullu valley.
The best time to do Beas Kund trekking is from Mid April to June and Mid September to October.
