The Braunsweigerhut (2759m)

The Braunschweiger Hut (Category I) is at 2759m in the Oetztaler Alps at the end of the Pitztals.
The hut was built in 1892 was 1932 and 1965. Summer:
From Mittelberg(1736) at the end of the Pitztals on track to the south-east along the Pitze into Gries, past the Gletscherstübele (1891) the bottom of the aerial ropeway (luggage transport). Then labeled riser on the refuge (1000hm, about 3h).

From Mittelberg with the Pitztal Glacier Express up to 2841m. Along the chairlift in südöstl. Direction off and the tongue of Mittelbergferners in an easterly direction and cross on the eastern edge of the visible far hut rise. (200hm, ca 1h). (200hm, about 1h). The glacier is relatively harmless, but Glacier equipment is required.
From Sölden in the Ötztal by car to the parking Rettenbach yoke (about 2780m). Over the Pitztaler Jöchl (3001m) and proceed to the hut. (200hm, ca. 1h). (200hm, about 1h).
Alternatively, something deeper situated car park with chairlift to the Rettenbach yoke, a short but steep descent to the hut and Karlesferner cross (about 0.5 h)
