Hiking Northern Black Forest

The Black Forest is a small part of the Tiadaghton State Forest, which is good for easy flat walks and rocky steep ascent which is in an average of 1100 feet elevation. It is up to the hikers efforts, the more they walk the more they will see the surrounding peaks and the valley. The Black Forest is a traveler’s delight and an enchanting area of cuckoo clocks, heavily forested mountains and rich green valleys.
You can do the following hikes in the Black Forest area:- 1. Trek from Westweg: Starts from Pforzheim to Besel via Mummelsee, Hausach , Titisee, Feldbberg which has a hiking route of 280 km and you can finish it in 12 days. 2. Hike from Mittelweg: Starts from Pforzheim to Waldshut via Freudenstadt, Schiltach, Schluchsee, hiking route of 233 km and 9 days hike. 3. Hike from Ostweg: Starts from Pforzheim to Schaffhausen via Freudenstadt, Villingen, hiking route of 239 km and 10days hike. 4. Hike from Querweg: Starts from Freiberg to Bodensee via Hollental, Wutachschlucht, Konstanz, 177 km long route and a 8 days hike. 5. Hike from Querweg: Starts from Gengenbach to Alpirsbach, hiking route of 50 km and 3 days long hike. 6. Hike from Querweg: Schwarzwald to Kaiserstuhl from Donaueschingen to Breisach, 110 km long route and 5 days hike.
