From Montecampione to the lake of Rondeneto

Location

Start with the complex Le Baite in the mountainresort of MonteCampione, just above Artogne. Then turn left towards the farmcomplex of Bassinale, go towards the direction of the refuge Alpinio. Then go further up at the right side of the refuge and walk towards the summit. After about 40 minutes we arrive at the top of Dosso Beccherie (1967 m)
Let the arrival of the chairlifts, turn left, stay at the top of the mountains, after a short while you reacht Dosso Sparviero. In the first falls down take the road along small waterfalls that goes in the catchment of Lake Rondeneto (1690 m) a nice lake in the town Gianico.

After reaching the plain lake, pass through at right side and take the way to the right up the steep path. En route you will meet some streams that will enter into the lake rondeneto. Then comes the small plateau above and continue to stay a little left in the direction of the farm of Rondeneto (1821 m). Soon after the farm is the road, go to the right and follow the road smoothly, after about 30 minutes we reach the farm of Bassinale (1897 m), from here you walk back to the complex Le Baite.
