You will approach the Oberwalderhütte (2.973 m) from the Franz-Josefs-Höhe (2.312 m) in NW-direction via the new opened Gamsgrubenweg, passing the Hof-mannshütte till the Wasserfallwinkel and furthermor over the Bock-karkees to the Oberwalderhüt. The Oberwalderhut has 46 beds in rooms, 91 beds in the campbedrooms and 10 beds in the winterroom to disposal. The main restaurant has 1 bigger diningroom and 2 smaller "Stuben", which can be reserved for groups.
