It is traditional Newari town situated 19km south of Kathmandu and untouched by the tourist. This town is famous for its pilgrimage site. There is also a Tibetan Buddhist monastery. This town is popular for Tibetan and Hindu pilgrims.

Buses leave from Old Bus Park, Kathmandu City throughout the day to Pharping. You can join your trip to Dakshinkali while visiting Pharping.
