Balthali is a small village in a small valley south east of Panauti and just 2 hours walk south of the famous Namo Buddha stupa.
Is a bit remote village but still near to Kathmandu. There is only one accommodation. The village is a nice base for walks in the surroundings, fe to Namo Buddha or into the Mahabharat range in the south.
