Dorje Ling Nunnery is a group of white houses situated at Dorje Ling Valley. The centerpiece of this friendly nunnery is a red lhakhang (chapel) in the midst of these group of white houses. The lhakhang is very simply decorated, reflecting the modest of means of the 52 nuns who call this place their home. The nuns are quite happy to show visitors around the nunnery and donations are most welcome. The trekking Tsurphu to Yangpachen passes this nunnery.
