The Eifel

The Eifel is a low mountain range of western Germany, which occupies part of southwestern North Rhine-Westphalia and northwestern Rhineland-Palatinate.

The Eifel is a rustic region of mild hills, peaceful villages and volcanic lakes which makes it the main tourist attraction. The area of Eifel is best for the bike ride or for hiking but the major attraction of the Eifel is a world-class car racing track, a stunning Romanesque abbey and a lovely wine region.
