 <description>&lt;p&gt;India is a huge democratic country in South Asia. It is the seventh largest country by geographical area (3.287.590 km²) and the second most populous country (China being the first).&lt;br /&gt;
India is bordered by Pakistan in the west, Nepal, China, and Bhutan in the north; and Bangladesh and Burma in the east.&lt;br /&gt;
Furthermore India is bounded by the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Of course, such a huge country has many different ecoregions and the landscape varies dramatically between different parts of the country.&lt;/p&gt;
