Murma Top LodgeMurma Top Lodge is the only accommodation in Mahjghatta a tiny village around 5 minutes walk from Rara Lake, the largest lake of Nepal. It actually is a house of several families, but they have two rooms for tourist with 8 beds in total. Facilities are extremely basic, just like other accommodation in Rara National Park. Mahjghatta is a good basis for walk around Rara Lake or a walk up to Murma Top.

Murma Top Lodge, a pleasant place to stay.

Although this accommodation is really basic we had an excellent time over here. The owner and his family are very friendly (note they hardly speak English, so make sure you know a little Nepali and/or take a phrasebook with). Is a pleasant place to explore the surroundings or relax and watch the village life.
