Monza is a city located over the river Lambro in the Lombardy. Monza is widely known for its Grand Prix motor racing circuit. Monza is the most important economic, industrial and administrative centre of Brianza area and also the third largest city of Lombardy.

Main sights of Monza are its Romansque-Gothic Duomo of Saint John, Church of Santa Maria in Strada which has a rich terra-cotta façade of 1393, Broletto or Arengairo is a 14th century palace of the civic commune, Royal Villa which was originally built by Piermarini in 1777.
