Jumla is known as the highest area in the world for growing rice. It is situated on the banks of Tila Khola which is 2370m. The whole Tila valley is covered with paddy field which grows red rice which is tastier than the white rice.
To reach Jumla, you should fly to Nepalgunj and then take another flight which will take you to Jumla in 35 minutes. Jumla Airport is also one of the best of Nepal airstips. You should register yourself to the police when you arrive there, which is kind of compulsory even for Nepali’s also.
